Why does life involve so much goddamn paperwork?
All I want to do is graduate this summer. I started college with a semester's worth of credit toward my degree from AP classes in high school. Now, I am starting my seventh term of university courses. That should account for the 8 semesters required for graduation, but instead I have to take a full course-load this summer to fulfil a whole bunch of bullshit requirements. And in order to have all of my credits count toward my degree, I need to fill out a mountain of paperwork. Oh and it all has to be sent to and from my American university via email because I am currently living in a different time zone.
Also, I am filling out grad school applications - that means references and transcripts and personal statements.
Oh and I need medical treatment and a prescription for certain drugs. Well, that's just more paperwork - passport, letters from my Oxford college, proof of residence in the UK.
Everything, it seems, comes down to paperwork. And I am so fucking sick of it all.
