BEDA Day 13: Monday Morning Music, the Candy Hangover Playlist

I have run out of original thought. There is nothing left in my brain except for candy-sludge. I don't know what I should blog about today. It doesn't help that I woke up and it hurt to open my left eye, which is now bloodshot and quite painful for no apparent reason.

I was supposed to be driving up to Syracuse (to check it out for college next year, it's one of my top choices) right now but that has been postponed until Thursday. Now I have three days to myself in our too-big house. It's been like this all year. After my siblings go their different ways I'm left in this house designed for a family of seven. It doesn't help that we're also surrounded by 25 acres of farmland so when you're alone in my house, you really feel alone.

In the absence of anything else to write about I am going to write about music. It's Monday morning, maybe some music will cheer me up. I'm going to make a Candy Hangover Playlist for you now:

1. One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Face - (old school) Ben Folds Five
The song on speed:

I'm a piano nerd. Listen to that piano jam around 1:40. It makes those stupid guitar solos sound like baby's work in my opinion.

2. The Old Days - Dr. Dog
Slow down a bit after that last song:

3. Stay By My Side - Good Old War (feat.the Wadsworth SIsters)
Very pretty:

4. The Wrote & the Writ - Johnny Flynn
Take heed, (BEDA) writers:

5. Think about It - Flight of the Conchords
To put it all in perspective:

"Leave those poor sick monkeys alone!"

I feel better now...except that my mother thinks I have pink eye. Thank you Carlee Anne for that one.
